Even customer services is worst does not pickup phone. There is lot of problem in correcting the bill JE turn up late in the afternoon whole day is wasted in the correction of bill. If there is fault in line you have bribe the lineman to correct it to the pole.

Pathetic, you never know when the supply will be gone and for how long even the provided toll free number on the bill respond after multiple calls and even if the response is provided then the people sitting to solve queries are not at all qualified. I paid 8000bugs just to replace a faulty meter and when asked what is the high charge for then they reverted that "ye tatkal sewa hai sir" for which I never got a receipt. Thank god my landlord understands the corruption in this department and never questioned me. But U.P. situation is worsening in law and order the power stand point. The people sitting at the sub stations never pick up the phones if there is anything wrong with you connection and the kind of attitude line man shows is like that they are the one providing services and electricity for free.

Mostly Linemen are involving in power theft. Mostly officers and station in charge know the fact how much theft is being from his station, so they mostly cut the power to cover up the power loss due to theft. which is unofficialy, do not write on log book, Break down in Transformers and wires continuously due to over load, as the corruption in all staff members it seems to be uncontrollable. Every body knows mostly peoples run their load more than permitted. Mostly private linemen are un experienced they can not work on LT when the power running because they do not use the ledder, they are directly climb on pole, All linemen are taken bribe of Rs. 200 to 1000 when anybody have complaint. So that they also contribute the little amount to onduty station incharge to cut the power of regarding complainants area. to solve the situation. This such types of cutting are out of Register mean to say the incharge does not entry this power cuts in his log book to show the officials. I am residing in old Ghaziabad city commercial area where only not more than 40-50 families live, and shop keepers have Generator connections, inverters so that they can spend the day easily even in long power cut, the main problem with families where children and ladies bother when Invereter go off due to long power cut, So the power station staff mostly cut the power where commercial activities commence and avoid the residential areas due to people reach the power houses and shouting easily, bothering by phone calls to ask.

Very heavy charges in getting connections where power lines are not already laid. I am told that at one place in Ravidas Nagar, Ghaziabad, thousands of rupees have collected to bring power lines there. The new connection cost in few thousand rupees has already put a lot of financial burden on the residents there. The first bills highly inflated lead to harassment to residents there. Why the cost of laying new power lines should be borne by them? Why first bills should be intentionally inflated to recover the likelihood of collection of unauthorized connections already there?
