Textiles committee is full of politics by all sections heads. Quality Assurance section [Earlier it was inspectorate wing] was like Heart. inspectorate was giving technical service to entire textile industry , had good rapport and was responsible for creating Quality awareness and helping the Textile Industries to Obtain ISO 9000 certificates. It is only because of other section's incharges dominance, interference and playing dirty politics, they weakened the heart , now organisation itself is in collapsed stage. Though Govt has issued order to implement 7th pay commissions recommendations, so far not done. infact Textiles committee organisation total staff itself will not cross more than 1500 staff, yet action is very very slow. Textiles committee need to be wind-up and merged with other organisations of Textile ministry like- Handloom & handicraft or powerloom organisation or directly with Textile commissioners office.

Objectve behind opening of Offices of the TXC.Textile Committee,Weavers Service Center etc was good but nowadays the core objectve of most of the organisation being not performed by them the reason may be core activity now not required , OR , Accountability is less, OR,Shortage of Skilled Man Power OR Higher level interference in the activity leads diversification/manupulation.
There is need for review of each offices & decenterlisation of activity state wise/area specific with full autonomy & accountability.
There is also need for appointment of Head of Organisation Field experts on term basis maxium for 5yrs with assessment on yearly basis against delivery/achievement to be displayed in organisation websites for information of common citizen.
