very poor services. all mohalla, roads are dirty

There is no supervision of road cleaning activity in the city, except maybe in VIP areas, like Kalidas Marg, Raj Bhawan Road etc. Sweepers can occasionally be seen working on the main roads in other areas, but in the interior roads/lanes, cleaning is got done by the citizens themselves by paying a private person, who also collects garbage from the houses. This is in addition to the annual House Tax paid by the citizens to the LMC. LMC sweepers are seen to be very active just before, during and after the major festivals, like Holi, Dussehra and Dewali, and they demand baksheesh.

I have been in B Block, Rajajipuram , Lucknow since 1993 and have never never seen the roads and surrounding areas being swept , and most of us have them cleaned under our own arrangements by paying the same people who are meant to sweep them by paying money. There seems to be no system wherein one can complain without giving his/her own identity far security reasons. I suggest that the individuals responsible to sweep the roads,berms and drains must be made accountable.These people should be asked to get their work authenticated from the residents in rotation every day in a log sheet.Based on their work performances their salary should be released.The Minicipal Corporation should advertise the details on which the citizens can lodge their complaint through electronic media. AP Sen Road is completely damaged and heavy traffic is running on the road due to ongoing metro work. Garbage dumping by nearby hotels at the beginning of AP sen Road from Thakur Transport KKC side is a big nuisance and inviting Dengue and other deceases for the residents of area. Needs immediate attention of LNN and PWD.
