It is functioning or have they shut shop. It definitely has done nothing over the last 4 yrs.
Fair justice for all.
This is the most dysfunctional ministry.
There is hardly any law and order.
Justice comes at a price.
Courts act like a shopping mall.

They don't have data from the courts! What kind of department is this?
Department of Justice indeed neglected the issue of Justified carry of the Constitutional Guarantees and, its Essential Provisions that enables a Citizen Earn and Live . Articles 14, 21, 41, 45, 46 and, 15[4] were really far away for general public WHILE ARTICLE 19 has been befitted only to those Rich and accessible to Court and Governments . The Separation of Clauses 2 to 6 of Article from the very provisions of Sub Clause a to g of Clause 1 itself is carrying injustice to the majority of Citizen .

There are many IPC Sections pertaining to Financial and Social Offenses need to be totally amended to suit the increasing corruptive practices which are making both Nation and the Society Suffer .
Thus, there is absolute need of energizing and empowering National Law Commission too to look after the issue of Law implementation whether of Constitutional mandates or, the other Laws .
