Bidhan Nagar Municipal Corporation

Our society ( Kendriya Vihar, VIP Road ) has established & started full fledged in the year 1998. After 19 yrs of living in this society till now we have no drinking water and approach road to our society, Kendriya Vihar VIP Road. Drainage System is very very poor & we be came waterlogged very frequently by sewage & small quantity of rainfall. We are demanding to our Bidhan Nagar Corporation for clean approach Rd & Drinking Water.

Many stretches of the pavement from FD1 to FD 12 are unfit for walking, because of the presence of filth, construction materials, and/or dilapidated condition. Most people walk on the road, endangering their own safety as well as impeding traffic. The pavement opposite Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan building is unfit for walking because of presence of facial material at intervals as well as dilapidated condition. Pavements around EC market and the road between the EC market and Labony Girls school is a very bad condition and filthy state for several years.
With what face the Bidhan Nagar wants to be a "Smart City" with such state of affairs. Is it only to get additional funds for use elsewhere?

So many have suffered, and are suffering but Bidhan Nagar Municipal Corporation does not bother at all. A letter in this respect was initiated from Mangalganthi Anupama Cooperative Housing Society Limited one month back, but no action preventive or remedial has been taken by this corporation so far.

A letter in this respect was initiated from Mangalganthi Anupama Cooperative Housing Society Limited, Anupama Complex, V.I.P. Road, Kolkata-700052 (Ward No. 7) one month back, but no action (neither preventive nor remedial) has been taken by this corporation so far.

Application for mutation with all relevant documents and exorbitant processing fee of Rs. 10,000/- do not attract any action at the Nagarayan for transferring ownership based on probate of Will. The officers do not wish to examine case/file, only wait for bribes for fast tracking cases. There should be some milestones for such cases.

They have municipal markets,school,community halls, maternity home with ambulance facilities
