Airtel digital TV

Their rate plans are complicated and intended to confuse the consumers. I donot understand why they can not have post paid plans for DTH. Everything is prepaid and so customer is at the mercy of the DTH operator

Using multi-connection Airtel DTH. Works gud.HD is good. Provides universal remote so v dont ve to use 2 different remotes. Even the basic pack covers frequently watched channels (like zee, sony, star, colors etc. In other dth service, atleast when I bought Airtel DTH, tata sky dint provide zee, Dish tv dint provide star in their basic package. Dunno current packs. But airtel covered all of them.) Just 1 problem-Slight cloudy atmosphere or rain and the services are stopped. Also they had started their own channel for free movies, but stopped in a few days. Radio channels were free in the beginning but now they are not available. Over all, not best in monsoon but otherwise, gud product.

Remote of this Service Provider is the MOST Wierd of All! Red Ink inscribed over a Black Background! Their Universal Remote Feature does Increase the levels of Volume to a substantial limits, but at the same also creates an ECHO effect which in turn desists the end user's proper Audability! Picture Quality is again Pixelated!

I am using tatasky for last 7 years. Now its time to change as the signal quality, service is not upto the mark anymore. Also it has become too expensive. Started with 275 per month now it has gone to 420 per month. Not worth it.
