FSSAI should get proactive about mango season

Last year I shared multiple photographs of mango boxes where different chemicals were inside the box but FSSAI failed to act. They kept referring me to websites and helplines.

This year I suggest FSSAI activate all food safety staff in every district and partner with citizens to eliminate this carbide and chemical ripening of mangoes.

All food controllers and inspectors should be given access to our circle at the earliest and every member should report such fruits after questioning sellers and then let the inspectors sieze and media publish.

2 reports from each city will set a lot of fear amongst the pepeterators of mango adulteration.

What say??? more

I have stopped buying/eating grapes, because i get sore throat. I have stopped buying/eating mango because my stomach gets upset after eating mango. I don't eat watermelons, because i fear vomiting. Only reliable fruits that i can buy right now are orange and banana Not sure when i would have to stop these. Now a days i prefer to eat only whats available at home naturally. more
FSsai is cosmetic in nature. On several instances failed to curb adulteration more
I agree fssai is generally seen to bebbusy in useless pursuits. Would be nice if they find a way to enforce a bit. They have failed in lisetening to public more
Frankly all, I do not think anything can be done in this country any more. I had high hopes when our PM came into power but I just see more and more corruption and the same practices being followed only growing worse day by day. First there were small scams and interest rates were lowered, now with big scams, interest rates are being raised. There is no planning whatsoever, it is like a huge ship rocking amidst the storm. more
You said it RIGHT, Ms Deenaz. In 2014 me too was of the same opinion. Voted for his Party. But,OMG, it turned out to be like we experiencing a regular barking street dog. Totally ineffective. Post election he has become EXTREMELY poor communicator when it comes to answering burning issues. Weekly Man-ki-Bat is a selective hogwash. A Dog praising his own tail.

Claimed himself to be a CHOUKIDAR. What a sham!! Today THE FENCE ITSELF IS EATING THE GRASS. No need of stray animals.

The follow has no guts to put any political leader behind the bars. Common slogan is 'Law Will take its Own Course' - very cleverly pretending to be forgetting that INDIA is one of the most lawless, undisciplined, shameless and corrupt countries in the World.

Let him give an example of one single minister (Central or State) since 1947 who has spent at least 25 years in jail for misdeeds, corruption, crimes, etc. and whose political profession has been destroyed. This has NEVER happened pre-2014 and WILL NEVER happen post-2014 despite good majority in Parliament. more
